Square Peg was founded by Indie Flynn whose own challenging journey though dyslexia and dyspraxia led her to wanting to work towards changing the way we support young people who, like her, see the world differently.
Square Peg is a small autism friendly organisation offering support and creative outlets for young people ages 5-25 with autism and or from challenging or vulnerable background. Through animation, film and art workshops we aim to support families and young people, helping our students grow and reach their full potential - greatness through uniqueness. Through our workshops we subtly teach social coping mechanisms that will stay with young people for the rest of their lives. We believe that we must try and educate the world that autism is simply a different way of developing and seeing the world – different, not less.
